Privacy

We keep less on purpose.

This is a plain-language summary of how we treat your data. A full legal privacy policy will accompany launch; this page states the principles that policy will encode.

Hard delete means hard delete

When you unsubscribe from a newsletter or ask us to remove your data, we delete the record. We do not keep a "suppression list" of your email, a hashed shadow profile, or a quiet copy "for compliance." Most platforms retain you forever after you leave. We don't.

Double opt-in

You only ever join a list by confirming through a link we email you. No one can subscribe you without your explicit confirmation.

What we collect

Only what a service needs to function — for a newsletter, your email and consent record; for a contact message, what you send us. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it beyond the providers required to deliver the service.

Logging without you in it

Our operational logs are designed to be free of personal data — no raw emails, names, message bodies, or IP addresses. We log domains and keyed hashes, never the person.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted — email privacy@sabelslibrary.com.

This summary is not yet a substitute for the full legal policy, which will be published before launch.
