Our story
Built by readers. Built the right way.
Sabel's Library exists because a product like it didn't. We're readers, gamers, parents, and grandparents who wanted every author — from those just starting out to established professional brands — to have real infrastructure, without surrendering their readers or their standards.
Why we're doing this
Personal, not abstract.
The three of us — Harley, Wayne, and David — are not only close friends, but parents and grandparents. Between us, we have multiple children and grandchildren, and some of us are raising children with special needs. Because of that, child safety and child usability aren't abstract ideas to us. They're personal.
This is not a "slap an app together and go make money" kind of project. We've had the sleepless nights, the long meetings, and the "we're not shipping this until we're proud of it" conversations. We've intentionally designed Sabel's Library to be curated and controlled, not chaotic — easy to navigate, with safety-minded guardrails in place on purpose.
Each of us are readers, and we know many readers and gamers. A product doesn't exist that does what we're building. That's why we decided to build it — and why we're building it the right way.

What we value
Curated. Controlled. Honest.
Readers you own
Your audience belongs to you — not to us, and not to a social platform's algorithm.
Privacy as a feature
Unsubscribe and we hard-delete. We keep less because keeping less is right.
Safety on purpose
Guardrails and curation designed in from the start, especially for younger readers.
Come build with us.
Whether you have one book or a shelf full, we'd love to hear about it.
